Located inside the La Reggia Designer Outlet shopping centre in Marcianise (Caserta), the RE NERO CAFFÈ is one of the main meeting points for those seeking a moment of relaxation while enjoying a delicious coffee in all its variations, as well as cocktails, desserts, ice cream, sandwiches, pizzas and typical Mediterranean dishes.
This is a restyling of the first café in the Re Nero Caffè chain by Tecnam Progetti in 2010. The new venue was opened on 18 June 2020.
Also for this project, similar in style to the Re Nero Caffè outlet also by Tecnam Progetti recently opened in Sicily, the choice was made to create an environment with dark colours, to create a pleasant contrast with the warm light coming in through the round-arched windows overlooking the Outlet’s outdoor pathways.
The environment is dominated by the long counter with its clean, elegant lines covered in calacatta marble, with its golden, iridescent veins, also echoed on the floor in some of the inserts that punctuate the design of the floor, for which “Deck Dusk” wood-effect porcelain stoneware by Refin was mainly used.
On the ceiling, in correspondence with the counter, a large backlit sheet reproduces the elegant floral motifs of Inkiostro Bianco’s “Liberty” wallpaper and scenographically embellishes the entire room. The same paper also covers some portions of the walls, creating refined glimpses of colour.
The large wall behind the counter is harmoniously punctuated in a symmetrical play of corbels, projections and skilfully lit panels, where a large
central LED screen, panels of stabilised green by Benetti Home and a cheerful and colourful set of bottles and ornamental objects with a strong folkloric reference. The same play of squares and the use of stabilised green, which accommodates the Re Nero Caffè brand logo, also characterises other walls of the café.
The overall scenographic effect is completed by the choice of keeping the pizza preparation area in view, also characterised by a pizza counter covered in calacatta marble and by a characteristic electric oven with a handcrafted antique copper front.
RE NERO CAFFÈ is a venue designed by Tecnam Progetti, an architecture and interior design studio in Rimini that has been designing and furnishing public premises since 1987.
